We Have PIG TAILS!!!!!

I am so excited.

I was a nanny for 5 years to 4 girls and a boy. I got to play hair and dress up everyday.

Then I had 4 BOYS!!! They don't like pig tails.... not that i have tried.... but it has been a verylong time since I got to do pig tails.

SO when I had Emma I was looking forward tot he day I could put in her very first pig tails.

She is so cute!!!! I can't wait for longer hair.


In this one, she looks like me when I was her age.

I think she is way cuter.

I feel old..again.

My oldest, Matthew is now out on his first scout over-night camping trip.

I am freakin' out.

I hope I packed everything he needs. I hope he will be warm enough.
I hope the other boys will be nice to him.
I hope he doesn't get hurt.

They don't tell you this will happen when you decide to have kids.
I mean they tell you they will go off on things like this, but what they don't tell you is how hard it is to let them go.
How hard it is to drive away after you have dropped them off with people you don't know all that well.
His leaders are nice people, and I know the Lord would not have given this people their callings if they were good for the kids.

I have never feel so panicked.

I think Jeff is gonna go up there tomorrow after work.
But still.
Jeff isn't gonna be there tonight and he doesn't have a tent. I never got a list of the stuff he needed. Jeff was working over time and couldn't help me find it all.
I did the best I could.

Oh man, I hope he will be okay.

I should have taken pictures of him before I left.
I guess I will have to take pictures of him when he gets back.

Oh am so freaked out!

CKU is just a weekend away scrapbooking.
They have classes to teach you new stuff.
It is suppose to be fun.
I have wanted to go for 7 years or so.

My best friend, Amy and I decided to go to CKU next year.

We are going to try and save $40 or more a month just so we can go together.

I decided to help me save I was gonna make a place to actually put the money.

I know me, and I would spend it on more scrapbook stuff.

I got to go to an ALL day scrapbook crop. Yay for me.

I got alot of things done.

There was also an all week Crop with my online swappers group. i got over 10 scrapbook pages done. Some were even 2 page layouts.

So pretty.

We took Emma to get her pictures taken in her Easter Dress at Picture People.

It took lookin at the amount we had left in the check book to resist from buying them all.

Jeff would have plunked down the $219 for the whole package, if I let him.

We picked our top 2 favorites .

We figure she will get more shot taken of her on her 1st birthday in a few months anyway.

We can wait.
Enjoy, she is a beauty, I am not sure where she gets it from though.

She is so funny. She makes the cutest funny faces.

She is fiesty and so loves to give mamma kisses.

She is totally crawling and walking around furniture. Soon she will be walking.

She is so in love with her brothers.

She loves honey-nut Cheerio's and Fishy crackers.

I have been playing....again!!!

I made everyone clean up early today, I got myself dressed and got organized and then I sat to play.

I started a little last night.

I have been working on some swap items.

Okay so, Sammy was feeling a little cranky yesterday.
He needed a hug.
He came over and sat with me a minute and give me a hug, that turned into a snuggle.
He said after a deep sigh," Mom, you make my heart feel better."

Somedays, well most days really, I have my doubts on my mothering skills, but yesterday he made me feel like I am doing okay.
Thank you Sammy, I *heart* you, forever.

Super Sammy and his Super day!

Okay here is Sammy's birthday pictures. He had a great day.
It started out with a birthday omlet. His favorite breakfast these days.

Then we let him open a few presents. He got a few Spiderman things and a Spiderman Gameboy game.

He help mix up his birthday cake ad then got to open his presents from Grandma Susi.
We decided to take him out for lunch for his birthday. That is a new tradition we decided to start. But we forgot to take the camera to Round table Pizza. There he spent $4 in quarters on video games and barely ate any pizza.
After that he got to open another present, a playdough set. dad had more fun playing then I think Sammy did.

After the other boys got home school, Mom frosted the cake, Sammy showed off his new loot and begged for more.
Mom declared no McD's for dinner if the chores and the cleaning of thier room were not done. So at 6pm,off to MCd's for the dollar Menu for dinner and and hour on the play ground.
Sammy got a surpise on his Birthday cake. Another Power Ranger!!!

We sang, he blew out the candles and some ice cream later, he wanted another present.
Another Gameboy Game and the one thing he wanted....A power Ranger Punch bag. yay!
He asked me this morning if it was still his birthday and he another present.

I asked him if he had a good birthday and he said..."it was alright."
well you are welcome Sammy.

S - "No peanut butter on my samich, k!"
M - "Okay, no problem."
S - "Mom, you forgot to write on the front!"
M - "so sorry bud.
S - "okay but you gotta write a big S for Sammy and then write tiny letters."
M - "okay, how's that? Is that good?"
S - "yes, that is Awesome. Okay, but you gotta write be good to sammy"
M - "Okay, I will. How's that?"
S - "That is so awesome Mom, You are the bomb! Now I need a hug and a kiss."

He is so cute. Some days are better than others.
But just one day with Sam is so worth the bad days.

Some strange kid named " I didn't do it" is at it again!!!

I am seriously ticked off.

I swear if I ever catch that kid, he's gonna get a time out from me.

Oh man, okay, so a few days ago I was walking by my fireplace and I noticed something was missing.

I figured moved it and I just forgot.

So yesterday as I was cleaning, I found it.

Broken.

And hidden behind some other stuff.

I asked the boys and they all said "I didn't do it"

SO when I find that kid ....... TIMEOUT!!!

Not anything new...

Not anything at all to post.

I mean. we have had a very uneventful week.
Jeff worked, I cleaned. the boys went to school and made messes.
Oh yeah...
MY MOM AND DAD came for a visit!!!!!
Yes sirrree... My dad made the trek.
They had to stop every 2 hours so my dad could walk around to avoid blood clots. But he is doing great. He is a little slow but anxious to get going again. He is a do-er. he needs to do stuff.
I almost fell apart when I saw him. He looks really good, and we had a fabulous visit.
I was so excited that they were here I didn't take any pictures.
And I should have.
A picture with my Mom and Emma would have been fabulous. Emma doesn't just let anyone hold her. She is picky. But she loved Grandma Susi.
She likes Papa too. My dad gave her her first french fry. They will be pals for life.
I should have gotten a picture of my 2 nephews Coleman and Jacob. They came along with my Mom and Dad. they surprised the boys. I didn't tell my kids they were coming.
It was a very short visit, but we had fun.
We won't be able to go visit when my brother Shane comes over all the way from Florida, the boys just can't miss school.
So they said the next visit would probably happen next month.
Man, oh Man, I am counting down the days.
