My sweet 12 year old son... yes, can you believe he is 12... was given the opportunity to give a short talk with all of the other kids in his Sunday school class.
I never in a million years thought he would do it. But he did.
Jeff ended up writing the talk. matthew had 1/2 and hour to review it this morning before church. It was suppose to be only 5 minutes long, but Matthew talked really slow and not very clear.
But he got up in front of everyone and he did it. It blew me away.
I would have cried for days before having to do that when I was 12.
I won't even do it now.
He also passed the Sacrament for the first time.
He is growing up so fast.
Which means only one thing.... I am getting old fast too.
